Tamko Titan XT architectural shingles

We completed a comprehensive roof replacement in Avon, CT. Our team stripped and disposed of the existing roofing down to the original decking. For homes with plywood decking, we installed 4-inch seam tape on all seams. We added new F-8 aluminum drip edge metal around the entire roof perimeter and applied Tamko Moisture Guard Ice & Water Barrier to the first six feet of eaves, intersection roof sections, valleys, and other leak-prone areas. The remainder of the roof received synthetic underlayment with reinforced fiberglass, followed by an asphalt universal starter course and new Tamko Titan XT architectural shingles. We installed the Attic Armor pest-deterrent system on the ridge, exclusive to Carden Home Improvement, and finished with Tamko Hip & Ridge cap shingles on all ridges and hips. All vent pipes received new one-piece Never-Leak pipe boots, and we step flashed and counter flashed around the chimney. The project is registered with Tamko and includes a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty with a 160 MPH wind warranty, transferable to future homeowners. We used magnetic rakes for debris cleanup, protected all siding and landscaping, and managed all necessary building permits.
