JOB SYNOPSIS:
We completed a full roof replacement in North Branford, CT. Our team stripped and disposed of the existing roofing down to the original decking. Where plywood decking was present, we applied 4-inch seam tape to all seams. We installed new F-8 aluminum drip edge metal around the entire roof perimeter, Tamko Moisture Guard Ice & Water Barrier on all leak-prone areas, and synthetic underlayment with reinforced fiberglass on the remainder of the roof. The project included installation of an asphalt universal starter course, Tamko Titan XT architectural shingles, and Tamko Hip & Ridge cap shingles on all ridges and hips. We also installed new one-piece Never-Leak pipe boots on all vent pipes and properly step flashed and counter flashed the chimney perimeter.
